Prayer from Ephesians


1.    Father in heaven, Father of glory, I pray that please grant me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Lord Jesus Christ.

2.    Father, I pray that
a.     The eyes of my understanding being enlightened.
b.    That I know what the hope of Your calling is.
c.     And to know the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints.
d.    And to know the exceeding greatness of Your power to myself who believe.
                                                    i.     According to the working of Your mighty power, which You wrought in Christ, when You raised Lord from the dead, and set Lord Jesus at Your own right hand in the heavenly places, Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come.
                                                  ii.     And hath put all things under Lord Jesus feet.
                                                iii.     And gave Lord to be the head over all things to the church, which is his body, in which I am part of.
                                                iv.     And the fullness of Lord Jesus that filleth all in all.

3.    Father, I pray that
a.     You would grant me according to the riches of Your glory
b.    And strengthened me with might by Your Spirit in my inner man;

4.    Father I thank you so much
a.     For raising me up together,
b.    And made me sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

5.    Father, I pray that Christ may dwell in my heart by faith
a.     That I, being rooted and grounded in love.
b.    And able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height of Your love.
c.     And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge.
d.    And I be filled with all the fullness of God.

6.    Father, I pray that
a.     Your love may abound in me yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment.
b.    That I may approve things that are excellent.
c.     That I may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

7.    Father, I pray that
a.     I being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise to Your holy name.

8.    Father, I pray that
a.     I might be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.
b.    That I might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work.
c.     That I be increase in the knowledge of God.
d.    That I be strengthened with all might, according to Your glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.

9.    Father, I give thanks to your holy name
a.     For You have made me to be partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.

10.Father, I thank you that
a.      You are able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to Your power that work in me,
b.    Unto You God be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen
